The HBSA will hold its 93rd Annual General Meeting at the fabulous Bonham Hotel situated in a quiet leafy crescent in the exclusive West End of Edinburgh. The weekend is a great opportunity to spend time with industry colleagues and friends. It offers unique networking opportunities, an inspiring business speaker, and also a chance to look around the historical city itself.

Only minutes from the town centre, The Bonham Hotel provides guests with luxurious, fully refurbished rooms and suites. Many rooms offer stunning views either over Drumsheugh Gardens or looking North over the New Town towards the Firth of Forth and the Kingdom of Fife.

Welcoming lounges and a stylish restaurant and bar make the most of beautiful interiors of the original houses and look over the peaceful Drumsheugh Gardens which guests have access to during their stay.

Offering just 49 rooms, the hotel has a wonderful boutique feel coupled with exceptional service, luxurious bedrooms and excellent dining and bar facilities.

Friday 7th May

HBSA Council Meeting. Dean Suite (HBSA Council members only)

Welcome drink followed by a private dining 3-course dinner at Restaurant No 35, at The Bonham. Under the guidance of Head Chef Marco Drumond Nobrega, the restaurant offers an eclectic menu of European inspired food with a Scottish twist, using the best of local ingredients.

Saturday 8th May

09.30am

HBSA Annual General Meeting. All member companies welcome.

11.00am

Guest speaker. We are currently confirming the details with a guest speaker. Details to follow.

12.00pm

Lunch at Restaurant No 35, at The Bonham.

2.00pm

Historical Walking tour local excursion starting from the hotel (included). We will start at the hotel and join a local tour guide for an introductory tour of Scotland’s historic capital city! Hear stories from across 900 years of Edinburgh’s history, as we walk back in time from the Georgian-era New Town to the medieval Old Town. From castles and kilts to witches and kings, find out about the people who have lived (and died) here, explore the unique landscape of this city on a rock, and find out what makes Edinburgh truly special.

Walking tour to finish in Central Edinburgh to allow guests time to explore the city further.

Dinner at a local restaurant. Enjoy an elegant dining experience serving incredible dishes using high-quality local produce, matched with attentive service and an extensive wine list.

Sunday 9th May

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before checking out by 11.00am

The cost for the weekend will be £519 + VAT for a double occupancy room and £549 + VAT for single occupancy.

The hotel has agreed to hold the rates for any extra nights should anyone wish to arrive earlier or depart later. There are also options for upgrading your room should you wish.

There is no golf tournament planned for the Saturday afternoon, but for any keen golfers, we have an option to play on the morning of Friday 6th or 9th May. Please contact info@thehbsa.co.uk for further information.
